CAMP FORM: Interactivity Description (6000 characters max)

Share Ideas! Learn New Skills! Nap in Pillow Pools! Super Friends Synaesthesia encourages our fellow Black Rock neighbors to wander into our 'always open' Super Space where we'll treat them as our Super Friends.

Cuddle up for warmth in our super cozy pillow pools every night, or take a nap to escape the heat at high noon. See how high you can bounce on our trampoline, or enjoy some silly stories by the burn barrel fire light.

A shaded, open space is key for learning and assorted silliness. We're a hub of playa education with several workshops including Head, Neck and Face Massage, Convert Your Camp to Solar Power, Into to LEDs and Microcontrollers, Pipe Cleaner Hat Making, How to Chain Weave a T-Shirt, Into to CAPS and Flowers Theory for Poi and Doubles, How to Bring Your Art to the Playa, and more!

Of course, what fun is Super Friends Synaesthesia without it's Drive-Thru Dry Cleaning, Airbrush Body Painting, Jewish Mother Advice, Sharpie Tattoos, Henna Tattoos, Pampered Naptime, and Gypsy Circus Music Hour? Not as much, that's what!

CAMP FORM: Acculturation (2500 characters max)

BRC Denizens Do It In the Dust. Our camp leads by example. We exemplify the principles of immediacy, participation, radical inclusion, leave no trace, and gifting by spreading the word of LNT, and demonstrating that good people with good efforts make good burners. We help those who seem lost or haven't grasped The Principles, and are a workshop and skill sharing hub that specifically focuses on burner relevant topics such as How to Convert Your Camp to Solar. We Do It In the Dust; our members include multiple playa artists, several long-time burners (7-15 years) Inner Circle fire conclave participants, and Greeters!

CAMP FORM: Physical Description (6000 characters max)

Super Friends Synaesthesia has a main shade structure in white that billows beautifully with the wind. The front portion of the structure is open-public shade where we will have 3 extra large inflatable pools filled with pillows and blankets. The remaining back portion of the shade is cover for our personal dining room. Between these public and private areas are vertical fabric panels, which create an unobtrusive visual barrier to minimize unsolicited guests in the private areas. Additional shade walls stretch out from the sides of our big shade structure to create a visually interesting slope and provide shade from the sun on the horizon.

A fanciful Super Friends mailbox, lit up Synaesthesia sign, event chalkboard, bike rack, and color changing stake lights will be posted along the front of the camp. Additional signage will indicate that we are the crew for Inspireality Palace. A large trampoline sits just outside our shade on one side, with our burn barrel lounge on the other.

A private camp kitchen will be setup under 10x20 shade, where all coolers and prep areas live, including a three stage washing system. In the back, we sort all of our recyclables as we go into plastic, metal, recycle camp cans, glass, compost and trash (trash is always the smallest in the end). To one side of the public area, several adjoining carport shade structures will house additional tents and kitchen space. One side of the perimeter will be lined with vehicles and a motorhome.

A large solar array will be setup in the rear of the camp providing ample power to our sound system and warm LED atmosphere lighting. Two showers are setup adjacent to a large evap pond.

Billowing white fabric surrounds our waterless pillow pools where the tired burner can take an afternoon nap. Learn new skills at one of our daytime workshops or groove to some tunes. My hand is holding your hand, but we're such Super Friends, you feel my hand on your heart...or in your brain.

CAMP FORM: Alternative Power (1000 characters max)

Much of the camp is run off solar power. The main power source is a 1.5 kilowatt solar array and a battery bank, providing us with enough power for; camp lighting and recharging station for portable electronics/small batteries. We run a 12-volt power grid with timed light switches & motion sensors to prevent wasting energy. Lighting sources include: low-watt LED lamps, numerous solar stake lights (color changing!), and hundreds of LEDs string lights.
